We are delighted to share that two of our Touch Football players, Jade J (Year 10) and Cobi RL (Year 11), were awarded Best Secondary Sports Team at the 2025 CIS Awards Ceremony, held last Thursday at CommBank Stadium.
Reflecting on the achievement, Jade said, “It was a real privilege to receive this award. I thoroughly enjoyed the highly competitive environment and the opportunity to develop new skills and collaborate with girls from a range of schools while representing CIS. Teamwork was at the heart of our success in winning the NSW PSSA State U15 Girls Touch Championship.”

Jade also shared how meaningful it was to receive the award alongside Cobi: “We have competed together across several sports over many years, and she is an exceptional athlete. I learn a great deal from her both on and off the field: her determination, vision and skills are amazing. It is always a pleasure to play alongside her.”
In addition to the team award, Cobi was honoured with the Most Outstanding Secondary Contribution Award. In 2025, Cobi was selected for CIS teams in three sports: Touch Football, Rugby League and Rugby 7’s, and was also selected for the School Australia Team and the Australian Schoolgirls Team.
Congratulations to both Cobi and Jade on these outstanding achievements!
